6U per module/48U max.
1 Control Module (CM) to 8 Module max. (1 CM + 7 EM = 8 Module).
1 to 3 tape drive per Module/24 drives max.: LTO 6/7.
50 tape slots minimum + increments of 25 or 100 or 750; 800 slots max.
Dual Port Fibre Channel (FC).
Redundant Power Supply and Advanced Control & Data Path Failover Feature optional.
What to ask/confirm:
50 tape slots minimum + 25 slots increment; 100 slots maximum per module; How many are required?
- The number of slots will determine how many modules are required.
- If the discussion is stated in required capacity (rather than slot quanity), see Capacity Chart below.
1 to 3 tape drive maximum per module (24 max. per system):
- How Many?
- Which kind: LTO 6 or 7?
Confirm that interface is FC.
Is rackspace available for the desired quantity of contiguous 6U modules and that is at least 42" deep?

Capacity Calculations:
Total desired capacity divided by 25 slot capacity (per tape drive type) = Total number of slots needed; minimum of 50 slots, increments of 25.
Total number of 25 slot increments divided by 4 = Number of Modules needed.
Example: 6 PB LTO 7 Compressed capacity needed -
- 6 PB/375 TB = 16; So, sixteen 25 slot increments needed, 4 Modules needed (CM + 3 EM).
